False ideas on starchy foods, frozen and preserves

Nutrition and health: fake thoughts on starchy foods, frozen and preserves. The objective of a new information campaign of the Ministry for Health launches and of the Inhabitant institute of prevention and education for Health (Inpes), is to bar the road with “persistent fake thoughts”, in particular on starchy foods, frozen and preserves.

The Ministry for Health launches with the Inhabitant institute of prevention and of education for Health (Inpes), within the framework of the Inhabitant plot Nutrition Health (PNS), launch a new campaign on the fruit consumption, vegetables and starchy foods, on television and on paper. The objective of this information campaign is to bar the road with “persistent fake thoughts”, in particular on starchy foods, frozen and preserves.

According to the last figures, 16,9% of the adults are obese in France, and 32,4% in overweight, of the data partly dependent on an unbalanced food. This is why the Inhabitant plot nutrition health, launched in 2001, fixed in particular like objectives “at least five fruit and vegetables per day” and “of starchy foods at each meal”.

If the reference marks of consumption worked out by the Inhabitant plot Nutrition Health (PNS) have today excellent dishonor near the French, their application still remains to be improved. – the complete cereals are very rich in fibres (of which the donations are insufficient in the contemporary food);
