Do you want to start off your day feeling on top of the world? Well, there are many ways to do this. The best way is through exercise. Exercising in the morning is one of the best ways to feel energized throughout the rest of day. It seems challenging to wake up early and exercise, especially if you’re not a morning person. Getting your energy from exercise is a much better alternative than drinking soda or caffeine, though.
Exercising in the morning
Even waking up just 30 – 60 minutes earlier than usual and putting in a little bit of exercise will increase your metabolism and energy for that day. It’s a small sacrifice for a big reward. If you were consistent in your morning exercises, you would see better results than exercising at night. First off, when you exercise in the morning it kick starts your metabolism and you are burning more calories than usual all day. You can eat foods that are not healthy for you all day and then exercise at night and you still won’t burn as many calories. Starting your day off with exercise will guarantee loss of calories. If you are trying to lose weight, morning is the best time to exercise. Plus, it is easier to make up excuses in the evening, because you are tired from a long day.

Here are some exercising benefits that can go on your list:
- Energy: This was a huge benefit for me. I have the hardest time feeling that energy and motivation all day. It seems as though my days drag on sometimes. Exercising in the morning is one of the best ways to get your energy. Period. All the benefits that are mentioned below have something to do with energy. Energy is a huge part of making or breaking your day. Your mood will increase along with your energy. Exercise increases our endorphins and makes us happier. Exercising is the best way to jump start your day and also make you feel really good about yourself for accomplishing so much.
- Metabolism: Exercising in the morning kick starts your metabolism and makes it faster the rest of the day. Basically, you will lose more weight from exercising in the morning vs exercising at night. If you are exercising just to be healthy, then you will love exercising in the morning, because your metabolism works better and you do not have to watch your calories as strictly. You can eat more healthful foods that give you energy and not have to worry about those extra calories.
- Mental Functions: Exercising will always increase your mental abilities for the day by giving you energy. It gives you a clear mind and you can think and be more creative. So why not exercise in the morning and get your mind clear from the beginning? People will exercise after work and then they have all this energy and clear mindedness for nothing. Well, not nothing. But you get what I’m saying. You might as well exercise first thing in the morning and you can see better results at work and increased energy after work. Exercising in the morning will give you that edge you need to survive that long day of work.
- Better Sleep: You may be tired bright and early, but exercising will make you wake up and then at night, you will sleep better. This is always a benefit from exercise. The more you exercise, the harder you crash. This is nice, because you may not require as much sleep because of the quality of sleep you are getting. You will be more productive because you will sleep less and feel more energy during the day. That sounds nice to me. Exercise ultimately gives you more time to be productive and more energy throughout your day to do what you need to get done.
