Various foods can dramatically improve skin health and ease the ageing process.  Generous amounts of protein are necessary for cell repair. This enhances the skin appearance and keeps it looking younger for longer.

Carrots are also vital for healthy skin. They are high in antioxidants and prevent the skin from becoming dry. An easy way of consuming raw fruits and vegetables each day is by combining these into a juicer or blender and making a fresh juice or smoothie.

Nuts are another healthy snack food, especially brazil nuts since they help improve the complexion of the skin and help protect against sun damage. Spinach has anti-ageing properties that provide that natural glow to the skin. Whole grains are fantastic, especially if you have been unwell since they are excellent for flushing out toxins. These will give the skin an instant radiance glow and revive tired dull skins. The daily consumption of probotic yogurt provides ‘good’ bacteria fantastic for skin maladies, especially eczema. It will help prevent the condition from becoming worse.

Where possible, substitute green tea for other teas and coffee since its antioxidants tend to detoxify the system which in turn, helps slow down the ageing process of the skin and helps against viruses.
