Kawhi Leonard Workout Focuses On Lateral Flexibility – Slow and steady wins the race. It worked in the case of the tortoise and the hare and it’s worked for San Antonio Spurs star forward Kawhi Leonard. Brought into the Spurs lineup back in 2011 as a 15th draft pick trade for George Hill, it was a gamble that had many onlookers scratching their heads in bewilderment.

Few could understand the trade of a high profile player, probably the best player the Spurs had at the time, for an unknown rookie with an unpronounceable name.

Five years down the track and it’s clear it was a gamble that had paid dividends. Brought along slowly and allowed to blossom at his own pace, Kawhi Leonard has handsomely repaid the Spurs selectors who showed faith in him. He has blossomed into a multi talented, incredibly agile defensive player who can be used at both ends.

He’s also one of the few players who can shut down the might LeBron James, as was clearly evident in the 2014 NBA finals. Kawhi then went on to be named Defensive Player of the Year.

The Kawhi Leonard workout routine has predominantly focused on developing and perfecting his ability to change direction and move laterally. Most players can only jump vertically and move in a straight line. By contrast, Leonard can move in any direction and it’s this ability that can shut down bigger and more experienced players than himself. He can move laterally better than they do.

Not much has been said about Kawhi’s nutritional regime. He likes donuts and bought his mom a new house, which he shares with her. She lives downstairs, he lives upstairs and she cooks all their meals. To ensure he eats properly because she knows that if was up to him he’d eat out all the time, and eat goodness knows what. No doubt she also makes sure he takes any supplements he needs.

For the last couple of months we’ve been hearing stories about how guys in Hollywood such as Vin Diesel and Zac Efron or top NBA players like Kawhi Leonard have been using two insane new products to lose body fat and add some incredible muscle bulk in mere weeks. Needless to say, when word of these ‘wonder-products’ leaked out men everywhere went crazy over them and their popularity simply exploded! Understandably, our readers have also been going mad over them too and why wouldn’t they?
